Love this idea that CalicoCorners featured in the June issue of their e-newsletter,
On Decorating. I'm a huge fan of IKEA's inexpensive, clean-lined Billy bookcase. I'm a huge fan of modern geometric prints. Ergo, I'm a huge fan of this snappy little project from designer
Eddie Ross. I posted a few months ago about how Billy bookcases helped me organize the kids' toys (
click here for that one). Eddie kicks the whole Billy bookcase thing up a huge notch with this super-doable idea, which is described in detail in the current issue of
Easy Decorating magazine, on newsstands now.

| Start with an IKEA Billy bookcase. |

Add a graphic fabric, like Calico Corners "Diamante in Seamist."

"Panels of the print fabric were cut, then wrapped and taped around foam-core cut to fit the inside backs of the bookcase. The panel was then popped in and secured with double-stick foam tape in each corner. Voila—a bookcase with personality!" —CalicoCorners® On Decorating e-newsletter, June 2011
